Credit Cards - do we really need them?
Last month I was shopping and found a dress really nice. I didn’t have enough cash to buy it but still went ahead because I had a credit card. And it was only after I got the bill, I understood it was little too costly and the dress burned a big hole in the pocket! This scenario is common among many people. Credit cards have both positive and negative effects. They are very helpful since one doesn’t have to carry money. Our bills are taken care before hand and loans also provided. But the biggest challenge is to restrict our temptations and not to splurge. This way one can make effective usage of credit cards. All one has to do is think that they don’t posses the credit card, even if they have one. This will control the expenditure and have a check on our spending. If something interests us so much, then we better think whether it is that necessary to splurge on it. It is a known fact that people can resist themselves if they are capable of analyzing the necessity in purchasing the product. Thus the question is not whether we need credit cards but are we capable of effectively using them!
