Lines have great meaning
I hated to draw a line when I wrote assignments. My teachers never made a great fuss about it until I met my computer science teacher. She reduced around 5 marks for not drawing the margins. In short she deducted 5 marks for presentation. I walked up to her and said I don’t find it is necessary to draw those margins and the lines after every answer. She smiled and she asked, “would you find it comfortable to walk wearing revealing clothes on the road?” I replied not at all, and got angry at that question. She asked why I didn’t feel comfortable. I replied that I had my own culture and did not want to cross the limits set by my parents. She said that those limits are lines. She explained that lines too made a great impression. Yep, lines teach us an important lesson,that they are those limits which are needed for a hassle free life! I still admire her for such a beautiful explanation.
