Clocks are always special
A clock is a style statement. I know that many people would laugh at this statement, but I feel that the clock adds to the style statement of the house. I have a collection of clocks and each has a story around it. I own two grandfather clocks and there is a story behind each one.
One was from my paternal grandparents and other from my maternal grandparents. My maternal grandfather gifted one and I was praising about it to my paternal granddad. Two months passed and I received a gift on my birthday. The courier guys had great time delivering it. I unpacked to find a gift from my paternal granddad. It was a clock, very magnificent and aesthetic.
I love watching both these clocks as they are a sign of affection and possessiveness. It is a common thing to think that these clocks are antique, but grandfather clocks need not be antique. I read a blog which discusses about grandfather clocks. The post discuses on the Halloween costumes designed as grandfather clocks. The idea looks funny but there is craze among people to go ahead with it. I know there could be more such creative ideas and one can read about them in this blog. Be creative, and buy grandfather clocks.
